It’s been quiet here on the Mac Diva I’m writing about Apple technology but I’m mainly writing for other. Currently I’ve been hired by three website and I write exclusively about Apple. Naturally I’m stoked since I’m passionate about Apple, Macs, and many of the products that Apple sells. I never seem to get tired of talking about it.

Last week I realized that I hadn’t received my subscription to Mac|Life magazine for two months. That’s definitely not good since my subscription isn’t set to expire until March 2009. A quick email remedied the situation and they added two months to my subscription. I thought I would receive back orders of the months I missed but when I followed up again via email I found out this wasn’t the case. Naturally, I think I should receive those missing issues but naturally I haven’t had the time to follow up about this. It makes me wonder if I didn’t follow up with them would they have ever noticed that my subscriptions had stopped?

Alright I don’t want a new MacBook Pro, yet. I’ll wait until late 2008 and see what’s out.

Last night I moved The Mac Diva & Ferrets Haven to another server.  I’m still at the same url just a different server location.  I still have some things to do I need to move the pictures, but so far everything went smoothly I forgot to put my old template back so you might have been greeted with the standard Wordpress Template.

A lot has been going on in The Mac Diva land, and I took a small break from writing so I could spend time hanging out with my daughter and thinking of ways to enhance this website.  I shall be posting by Monday.

This past week I was vacationing in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. I brought my MacBook Pro along I figured I would check my work emails daily; however, I could not access the condo’s internet. I called the owner and found out that they have been having problems with their broadband connection they aren’t sure when it will be fixed. Read the rest of this entry »
